The Call of Tim Sutton Ministries
In the Spring of 1973, a young teenager sat in the 2nd row of the Salvation Army Church in High Point, NC. That night a cadet (Bible student) from the Salvation Army’s School in Atlanta, GA was the visiting minister. He preached the passage from the Word that says “Go ye to all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature”.
Likely, he saw the young teenager sitting on the 2nd row and maybe did not think about it. After all, he was just ONE TEENAGER! However, God saw something different. God did not see one teen, but the harvest! God does not see one seed, one tree, one young person, God sees what that one person can do to touch the lives of millions! God sees the harvest! You never know who YOU MIGHT BE TOUCHING!
As the cadet preached, God began to speak. As he preached “Go ye to all the world and preach the Gospel”, the Holy Spirit spoke to the young teenager and said “You’re going to do that”. The teenager turned around to see who said it. However, no one was sitting behind him. He began to realize, as did young Samuel, that God was calling him!
From that night all his plans changed for God was calling him to preach the Gospel! That night began a journey for Tim Sutton! A jouney in the exciting call of the most high! From that night, nothing would ever be the same!
Today, Tim and Gwen Sutton fulfill that call as they take the Gospel to the world! God’s word says, “write the vision and make it plain that they may run that read it”. Tim Sutton Ministries is a ministry with a vision for the lost, and is expecting to REACH THE WORLD with the good news of Jesus Christ!
Write the Vision and Make It Plain
WE ARE: Training the Body of Christ in methods of harvest. (Mark 16:15-20) These include S.W.A.T. Attack Evangelism weekends, School of Evangelism, Crusades, Revivals, Concerts and Ministry Services.
WE ARE: Exciting the church with anointed music, preaching and ministry.
WE ARE: Stirring every church for the harvest! Our plan is to do this inside and outside the four walls of the church building.
WE ARE: Pulling down strong holds in prayer!
WE ARE: Employing every method possible to reach the lost. As lead by the Holy Ghost, these will include church Services, crusades, revivals, concerts, evangelism Schools and S.W.A.T. Attack evangelism weekends. We will use every available medium to accomplish our goals, which include internet, websites, radio, TV, books, tapes videos and newsletters.
OUR GOAL: Evangelism through training! You can win the lost! We are called to do it! Go ye to all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature! As a young person of 15 years old, the Holy Spirit said to me, “You’re going to do that!” (Go to the World) By God’s grace, we will!
OUR PURPOSE: August 23, 2003, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “this is your purpose, the reason you were born!” “You are to stir the church for the harvest and help get them out of the four walls and into the streets!” We must take evangelism, soul winning, harvest, reaching the lost, to win the world! We must motivate and train others in the body of Christ to do the same!
